Symptoms

Importing data using a CSV file to create a Business process (BP) record that has a Date field which is Auto-Populated from the another field (i.e. data for the Date field is not in the CSV file) throws the error below -

"Invalid Date. Value: xx-xx-xxxx xx:xx:xx. Date Format: MM/dd/yyyy."

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier.
  2. Navigate to e.g. Project_XYZ > BP_DailyReports > Actions > Import > Data From CSV File.
  3. Select the .CSV file with data to import (note: that the date field within the .CSV file does not have any value).
  4. Observe that the import is not successful and the above error msg is received within the BP_DailyReports_error.csv file.
