Application User Email Is Getting User Id As Value Instead Of Email (Doc ID 2965241.1)

The wrong value is being passed for $application.user.email in one environment and not the other.
In one instance $application.user.email is getting the userid value instead of the email id from where as in the another instance $application.user.email is getting the email address.
