Last updated on AUGUST 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Absence Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.04.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Carryover setup changes have been made on the absence plan setup.  Then, when running the accrual, a strange carryover expiration value is coming for 2023.

This is an Accrual absence plan with plan term of type Calendar year and yearly repeating period.

The carryover setup has been updated as follows:

For 2021 and 2022 years, the carryover limit was 70 hours with a 12 month expiry.
From 2023 the carryover limit is 35 hours and 3 months expiry.

After running the accrual for the employees, notice a carryover expiration value of -35 with effective date 01/01/2023 which is not per the plan setup.
