Conversion Of XOffice On Premise V19.0.3 To XOCS V23.1.201.0 (Doc ID 2970647.1)

Goal

Conversion of XOffice on premise V19.0.3 to XOCS V23.1.201.0. The conversion of data can be done in two ways. customer would like to understand Oracle's recommendation for migration of data from XOffice on premise to XOCS.

Option 1:

• For master data
  • Convert current RMSv16 data to MFCS Cloud environment.
  • From MFCS move data to MFCS PROD.
  • Run the refresh job to insert data into the MERCHAPI* tables.
  • API moves the data to XOCS.
  • Mnt files created for stores and sent to XStore v19.0.3 (already implemented and in use) for 1700+ stores - please provide insights on the volume handling considerations - all store go live together.
  • Data available in XStore. (All the above steps have to be conducted on Go live day minus 1)

• For transaction data
  • Use DMU to move 2 years worth of transaction data from v19.0.3 XOffice on premise to XOCS.

Option 2:

• Use DMU to sync all master and transaction data from XOffice on premise to XOCS.
• Start the DMU sync about 1 month prior to go live.
• No mnt data push from XOCS to XStore on go live date.
• Data converted from RMSv16 to MFCS will not go to XOCS (how to achieve this?) as the data is already present in XOCS and XStore by virtue of sync of data from XOffice on premise to XOCS.
