Symptoms

 When generating a BIP report using Excel template we are getting following error:

Error getting report data
[INSTANCE_ID=bip.bi_server1] DataException:[INSTANCE_JOB_ID=665230] oracle.xdo.XDOException: Template type excel is not yet supported.
oracle.xdo.servlet.data.DataException: oracle.xdo.XDOException: Template type excel is not yet supported.

 

Changes

 This is happening for any new report.

We do have other reports that are using Excel template and they are running fine.
