Leading Zeros Are Dropped from Project IDs When Using the Project Download Feature (Doc ID 2973738.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In P6 Web, when using the Download feature in the Projects > EPS page, the XLSX file, when opened in Excel, drops the leading zeros from the Project IDs.
The file is encoded so it can't be opened in Notepad and then brought into Excel either.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Leading zeros will not be dropped from Project IDs when using the Download feature in the Projects > EPS page.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Web.
  2. Go to Projects > EPS.
  3. Click on the Download button.
  4. Save the XLSX file.
  5. Open the XLSX file in Excel.
  6. Notice that Project IDs with leading zeros have dropped the leading zeros.
