Leading Zeros Are Dropped from Project IDs When Using the Project Download Feature (Doc ID 2973738.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In P6 Web, when using the Download feature in the Projects > EPS page and opening the XLSX file in Excel, the leading zeros are dropped from the Project IDs.  The file is encoded so it also can't be opened in Notepad and then brought into Excel.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Leading zeros will not be dropped from Project IDs when using the Download feature in the Projects > EPS page.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In P6 Web, navigate to the Projects > EPS view.
  2. Click Download and save the XLSX file.
  3. Open the XLSX file in Excel.
  4. Observe the reported issue.
