Oracle Fusion Learning Cloud: eLearning Player Not Starting (Doc ID 2974044.1)

Symptoms

When a learner tries to launch a video or SCORM content, the player first displays a blank page, when refreshing and launching the same content again, an error message, and on the third attempt shows the content identifier and freezes. On the fourth attempt, the video is played successfully.

An error occurred while launching the learning item


The issue can be reproduced  with the following steps:


1. Go to Me -> Learning -> launch a learning item assigned that is based on a video/SCORM content
2. User can open the course contents and start launching the player to start the learning process
3. On the first attempt to launch the content, a blank page is displayed -> Refresh and launch again
4. On the second attempt, an error message -> Refresh and launch again
5. On the third attempt, the content identifier -> Refresh and launch again
6. Lastly, the content plays successfully

 ESS job placed on hold, paused, or cancelled
