Error: "View Column Name cannot contain the special characters: <Invalid characters>. (PRM-006004001)." When Importing P6 XML (Doc ID 2974086.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import P6 XML,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

<Error Context> (e.g. Project Configured Fields): Import failed to complete successfully due to a business rules conflict. View Column Name does not meet the naming criteria. View Column Name cannot contain the special characters: <Invalid characters> (e.g. ' \). (PRM-006004001).

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into OPC
  2. Open workspace.
  3. Import P6 XML. Process will fail.
