Symptoms

When trying to import a Configuration Package:

ERROR
-----------------------
“The deployed version of [xxx] in the current environment is higher than the published version that in included in the….”

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Trigger the import of a configuration package to a non-production environment.
  2. Find that the above error is returned.
