The Calculation Of The Replenishment (method = Time Supply) Doesn't Take In Account The Lead Time (Doc ID 2976077.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 26, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 23.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The system totals for ORDER_POINT (MIN_SUPPLY_DAYS_FORECAST) and ORDER_UP_TO_POINT (MAX_SUPPLY_DAYS_FORECAST) do not match the calculated (expected) totals when Lead Time is applied. If Lead Time is not applied then the values match.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
Step 1 : Create 1 items linked to 2 stores and Warehouse (the items should be forecastable)
Step 2 : Create Replenishment parameters for these Items
Step 3: Add some stock on hand for these items
Step 4 : Create some forecast for these items in the  ITEM_FORECAST table
Step 5 : Run the batches listed in the customer test case
Step 6 : In the table REPL_RESULTS, you will find the result of the calculation (Min Supply Days forecast and Max Supply Days forecast)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
The system calculated values should still match the manually calculated values when Lead Time is applied as they do when it is not applied.
