SOCS Audible Alerts Not Working In 19.8

Symptoms
After updating to 19.8, audible alerts are no longer working on the following instances :
1) Changing Stores
2) On Screen Alerts
3) Confirming Order/Container
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. System Config :
- Sound Error Enabled = Yes
- Sound Information Enabled = Yes
- Sound Scan Enabled = Yes
2. adf-config.xml has the following settings

<adf-property name="SOUND_SCAN_ENABLED" value="true"/>
<adf-property name="SOUND_INFORMATION_ENABLED" value="true"/>
<adf-property name="SOUND_WARNING_ENABLED" value="true"/>
<adf-property name="SOUND_ERROR_ENABLED" value="true"/>
3. Build the SOCS .apk file and deploy to an android device
4. Login to the app and change store
No audible alert heard.
