Purpose

This article will provide the steps recommended to install all the October 2023 CPU patches in an ODI 12.2.1.4.x environment.

Installing the recommended CPU patches can be challenging especially in the cases where previous Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Bundle Patches have been applied.

There is a conflict seen when applying the October 2023 CPU Patches individually on top of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Bundle Patches starting with the January 2021 BP and later.

The ODI Bundle Patch includes different versions of the same third-party jar files which causes the conflict.
