OCI Compute - Unable to Enable In-Transit Encryption on Burstable Compute Instances (Doc ID 2982810.1)

Symptoms

Compute Instances which are configured as "burstable" may experience an issue when trying to enable in-transit encryption:

The following error will be thrown while saving the changes:

 

Changes

Burstable Compute Instances created with "Use in-transit encryption" option from the beginning, can be later modified by unchecking and checking again the encryption option.

However, burstable Compute Instance which are created without "Use in-transit encryption" option from the beginning cannot be modified later due to the mentioned error.
