Last updated on NOVEMBER 06, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Xstore Office Cloud Service - Version NA to NA [Release No Release]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Problem Summary

Post void transactions are included on the close count of a register where the original sale was not made.

Problem Summary

The tender amount of post voided transactions is recorded in till count/End of Day count of the register where the Post Void is performed and not in the register where the post voided transaction was performed.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1.  Perform a sale on register X.
2.  Perform a return on register X.
3.  Perform a Post Void return transaction in step 2, from another register (i.e. register Y)

Actual Behavior

When checking the Till Count/End of day count for register X, it is still including the Tender amount used in the return in step 2, even if the transaction is post voided.
When checking the Till Count/End of day count for register Y, it is including new amount as tender for the transaction that was post voided.
