Last updated on NOVEMBER 20, 2023

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 9.7 and later
Primavera Unifier - Version 9.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to import Data From Microsoft Excel File to create a Business Process (BP) record, the following error occurs.  (The Microsoft Excel File has specific entries for a Data Element (DE).  The entry for the DE looks to be valid and can be selected without any issues if the same BP record is created manually.)

### is an invalid value for <data element name>.

(Where ### is a unique entry, and <data element name> is the name of the DE being used, both of which vary depending on the customer's design.)

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to Unifier.
  2. Navigate to BP's workspace > Actions > Import > Data From Microsoft Excel file and select an Excel file that references the <data element name>.
  3. Observe that the record is not created and the error message as defined above is received.
