Symptoms

When importing the calendar hierarchy such that it removes data for a year, the W_PDS_CALENDAR_D runs for a very long time and ultimately fails.

Development suggested that calendar load will take time when data for a year is being removed. This happens because purging and deleting takes time and all fact tables are being updated. This issue is currently being investigated under a performance defect where development is working to optimize the process.
