Q1. The understanding is that these changes will auto-migrate in 24A from table to view but we would like the customer to check their custom reports, extract etc.. that use these tables and manually make the change from the table to view to make the 24A transition seamless and to avoid slow performance issue due to these changes. Is that correct?
Q2. It stated via the What’s News above that if the customer has reports that '..retrieve information directly from the PAY_VALUE_DEFINITIONS_F or PAY_RANGE_ITEMS_F tables should be updated to use these views...' Is there an SQL query that the customer can run to see which report is currently using these tables to make a change from TL to VL? Or are they on their own to figure this out?
Q3. This feature is enabled by default. If customers have reports that do not get converted from table to views, will the performance be impacted (for example report might not run)?
Q4. Will Oracle convert this Table to View automatically for all seeded BI and reports? Customers would only have to update the custom extract, BI/reports that use these tables, is that correct?
Q5. When will these tables be obsolete (please provide a time frame) and Customers must convert them to the newer views or the reports won’t run at all?
Q6. Which View to use as the replacement?
Q7. What has happened to the Audit tables pay_value_definitions_f_and pay_range_items_f_
Q8. How has the change impacted use of the Source System ID used in HDL?
