Goal

Why are shipping charges that are added to an order during ship confirmation not added to the Sales Order total?

Freight charges are calculated by a 3rd part application - WMS - and are captured during ship confirmation. The freight charges are added to the order by a custom extension and these are shown on each order line. The freight charges are not shown as a separate shipping charge on order header totals
