RPAS Cloud: Batch Is Timing Out after 24 Hours Due to Slow Performance on Specific Rule Group (Doc ID 2995987.1)

Symptoms

The batch was performing extremely poorly and when the customer asked for assistance from Support, we could see it was processing a specific rule group. This RDF weekly batch appeared to become especially slow at processing rule group CD_EstCstEff01. The Administration Dashboard showed the batch in failed status, however the lower level logs were still not complete, it was still processing. Support could see there were multiple convoservers using high CPU usage and that several processes were still active.

The parent task had timed out after reaching the 24 hour limit. However the lower level sub-tasks took a long time to finally clean up and close.
