Fusion UK Payroll: Statutory Sick Pay Proportionate Split on Multi Assignments. Statutory Payment Values Are Splitting As per Number of Assignments and Not Based on Earnings. (Doc ID 2996100.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 03, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Payroll Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Local Government Pension Schemes (LGPS) Contribution is incorrect because of the Statutory Sick Payment (SSP) getting split in multiple assignment when earning is 0 and to get APP balance correct.

Expected behavior is for Oracle to have this enhanced in standard Statutory Pay formula for the proportionate split of SSP value (a Statutory Pay formula fix to get this values correct).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. The standard code for Statutory Payments split across assignments may be compliant in terms of aggregated payment.
2. But a casual (0 hour) assignment starts getting a payment from when the absence starts might not be correct for any Pension schemes.
3. Please confirm that this functionality cannot be achieved through standard Oracle code at this moment and if a custom logic needs to be added in order to make this work till a new code enhancement.
