P6 Professional Project Checker Remains in an Indefinite Hanging State When Generating a Report (Doc ID 2996450.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Project Checker utility remains unresponsive when generating a report.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Project checker reports should complete as expected.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6 Professional.
  2. Start Project Checker.
  3. In Project Checker, select a project.
  4. Select "Run Report".
  5. Observe the Primavera.ImportExport.exe process enter an indefinite "not responding" status.
