Fusion Global Payroll – Recalculate Payroll for Retroactive Changes Process Not Considering Retro Lookback Period Parameter: Number of months in rolling period for retroactive changes. (Doc ID 2996931.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 22, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Global Payroll Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to run Recalculate Payroll For Retroactive Changes (will call it current Retro run), the Retro processing is running past the date parameters set in Payroll Process Configuration (PCG).

The expectations are that the actual set up of PCG retro period related parameters to be considered on Retro processing.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new Payroll Process Configuration Group (PCG) with:
Example: "Number of months in rolling period for retroactive changes" = 3 and "Earliest Retroactive Processing Date" = 1st of October 2023 .
2. Run "Recalculate Payroll for Retroactive Changes" .
3. The Retro process is fetching entries as earliest from 1st of January 2023.
