No Sound Alert For Helpdesk User Before Clicking On Chat Icon

Symptoms
When a helpdesk user logs into the application the sound alerts related to chat requests are NOT produced until the helpdesk user clicks the first time on the chat icon.
Then, sound alerts are produced every time there is a chat request (or a chat message in a chat already taken)
The sound alert should be available from the first request.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. A helpdesk user logs in and does *not* click on the chat icon
2. An on field user opens a chat with the helpdesk
3. A sound alert is *not* produced on the helpdesk user computer
