PRC:SSP: Cannot Change the Source Organization When Creating an Internal Material Transfer (IMT) Requisition (Doc ID 2998943.1)

Symptoms

When certain items are added on a Requisition line, the Source Type defaults to Inventory and the Source Organization defaults "XXX'.
There is a requirement to change the Source Type to a different Organization, but that field is not editable. 
There are no sourcing rules set up, so how is Source Organization "XXX" defaulting? If the item is changed to Stockable: No, an error occurs: The source organization for the given destination type can't be determined. Contact your Supply Chain Manager. (POR-2010790).

Steps to Reproduce

1.  Create Requisition for IMT
2.  Source Type defaults to Inventory
3.  Destination Type is Expense
4.  Source Organization defaults to XX and it cannot be changed
