Getting 'CORS' Error when invoking ORDS Rest API from Visual Builder Studio (Doc ID 2999755.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Service Connection to ORDS from Visual Builder Studio, users may receive the following error: 

The REST API that you are connecting to doesn't seem to have Cross Origin Request sharing (CORS) for the Visual Builder domain. Try again after adding necessary CORS settings for the REST API you are connecting to.

This may occur when a user has multiple environments. It is important to note that in some cases, the Service Connection may work in one environment and not the other.
