ItemManagementService API Request Response Error ORA-20001: The Record Is Currently Locked By Another User (Doc ID 3000213.1)

Symptoms

An automated modify item job runs for every one hour calling the item management service using the MFCS ItemManagementService API.

When the job tries to access some tables which are used by some other batch or session during the same time the following error occurs:

Error ORA-20001: The record is currently locked by another user.

Changes

 Rescheduled the modify item job so it will skip during OCI nightly batch runs and frequency of ORA-20001 error has reduced.
