POs Cannot Be Converted For Discontinued Items
(Doc ID 3004441.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2024
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service - Version 23.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The client is unable to load Purchase Orders for discontinued items using the DC. From a user experience point this makes sense, but from a migration point of view, this behavior should not be applied.
The client has the following scenario that currently cannot be converted:
1-The items are active for a warehouse on day X
2-Purchase Orders are created for these items and the same warehouse on day X
3-The items are discontinued on day X+1
4-Migration process takes place on day X+1: the item/location migrated is currently on status discontinued, but the purchase order status is active
5-The migration process cannot load these PO’s, and return the error ORDER_ITEM_NOT_ACTIVE
This is a valid use-case that should be supported by the DC tool .
