Symptoms

After a Windows instance Shape size increase the Operating System continues to display the original OCPU count.

Changes

A increase in an instance’s shape size should show a corresponding increase in that instance’s memory, network bandwidth, VNICs and OCPUs. Additionally, a Shape size increase may report a new processor, if an alternative processor type is associated with the new shape.
