Error "PRM-003015036" When Importing Project File To Update Existing Project (Doc ID 3005956.1)

Symptoms

On : 24.1 version, Cloud: Schedule, Progress and Tasks

When attempting to import a P6 project xml/xer to update the existing project in Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC), the following error occurs.

If import the P6 xml/xer as a New project, it can be imported successfully.

ERROR

Import failed due to a business rules conflict. You cannot enter a remaining finish date for a resource assignment for a completed activity. (PRM-003015036).

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into OPC.
  2. View All projects and select the target workspace->Action ->Import P6 xml/xer.
  3. Select the P6 xml/xer with Update option.
  4. Import failed with above error.
