Goal

Absences Approval Rule condition is not working when lastUpdateDate.year function used.

Example:

If you wish to use the lastUpdateDate.year function in approval rule condition and getting the below error message.

Approval condition: (absencesApprovalsRequest.startDate.year < absencesApprovalsRequest.lastUpdateDate.year)

Error message: An attribute in the 'RULE_NAME' rule has a null value.
