Symptoms

There are performance issues when using APEX Web services, which are coming from
WWV_FLOW_WEB_SERVICES package.

A query similar to this is appearing at the top of SQL executions:


The SQL query loops thousands of times and takes a long time to execute.
The caller is apex_web_service.make_request and is consuming several CPU cores.
