EICS - Standalone Data Seeding - Issue
Would like to automate the uploading and importing foundation data CSV files into EICS using FTS REST service. In the EICS Admin Guide, "Initial Data Loading Process" is mentioned that,
To load Foundation Data CSV Files (Items, Miscellaneous, Suppliers and Warehouses)
1) Set the "Initial Data Load Seed" and "Initial Data Load Seed Foundation Data" options to Yes.
2) Run the Initial Foundation Data File Import batch job.
and to import the Store Data CSV files,
1) Set the "Initial Data Load Seed Foundation Data" option to No and the "Initial Data Load Seed Store Data" option to Yes.
2) Run the Initial Store Data File Import batch job.
Regarding the above process, please clarify the below points -
1) Can we place all these DATA files (item, miscellaneous, supplier, warehouse and store) into FTS imports folder and run these batches? Does it take care of the dependency?
2) In order to run these batches, how can we switch on the parameters automatically. For Example, while running "Initial Foundation Data File Import batch job", need to set "Initial Data Load Seed Foundation Data" option to Yes and while running "Initial Store Data File Import batch job", need "Initial Data Load Seed Foundation Data" option to No and the "Initial Data Load Seed Store Data" option to Yes.
