ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Increasing the setMaxFetchSize more than 25 in custom groovy function not working as expected

There is a custom groovy object function which is updating Subscription Management bill lines custom fields but when tried to increase setMaxFetchSize from > 25 then it behaving weird. Sometimes it goes in retrying status, updating the records in the backend and completes in success and sometimes it completes in error.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The behavior of the application should be constant.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. increase setMaxFetchSize from > 25.
