Details

In June 2021, Oracle introduced Java Management Service (JMS), a reporting and management service on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Platform. This service enables system administrators to monitor and manage Java use across various environments, including on-premises and cloud deployments. JMS offers not just the core functionality of Advanced Management Console (AMC), but also comes with advanced features that benefit System Administrators and Java users.

Oracle now recommends JMS for managing Java runtimes in the cloud and on-premises. Updates and support for AMC will no longer be available after the end of 2024. We recommend users of AMC migrate to JMS before the end of 2024.
