Last updated on AUGUST 09, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Expenses Cloud Service - Version 11.13.24.01.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After loading security policies and conditions using Manage Segment Value Security Rules Spreadsheet, some of them do not work as expected as users are NOT able to see the values granted via Segment Value Security(SVS) roles.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Have policies, users and conditions as below:
- User USER100 has assigned ONLY the 2 roles XXX Expense Self Service and XXX SVS 100. The condition for the SVS is SITE Equals 100. From the expense module this user is able to see by default the 100 value as expected
- User USER703 has assigned ONLY the 2 roles XXX Expense Self Service and XXX SVS 703. The condition for the SVS is SITE Equals 703. From the expense module this user is NOT able to see by default the 703 value as expected or any other value
2. There is NO other security set at BSV level, FF had been deployed numerous times and hierarchies linked to this segment had been published also.
