Search Contracts By Text Functionality Is Not Properly Working (Doc ID 3012564.1)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

-----------------------

Elastic search framework high-lighting feature has a limitation of 1000000 characters for combined sliced text from attachment content of all contracts fetched for the given criteria. The input used by the user crosses this limit.



ERROR
-----------------------

1st Error - Too many matches were found to return the rows. You must change the search criteria to return fewer results. (OKC196687)

 

2nd Error - You can't search contracts by text because the feature is currently unavailable. Try again later and if the issue persists, contact your help desk (OKC-196691)
An application error has occurred. Your help desk can use the following information to obtain a more detailed description of this incident Incident ID 19. Server Domain FADomian. Server Instance UIServer_HA. Application Name: ORA_FSCM_UIAPP.



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1. Go to Contracts work area> click tasks.
2. Select Search contracts by Text
3. Enter a word or number and click search > the errors will appear.
