Last updated on MARCH 29, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion General Ledger Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.07.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.13.23.07.0 version, Journals and Intercompany

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

When searching by "Created By" in the journals screen and going to the Advance search, not all operators work when using the Name field.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The advance search should work on the field Name as it does in User Name

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Manage Journals
2. Add Created By field
3. Use the Contains operator and other filters and search, the system returns the correct results
4. Now instead of use contains in the main search use equals and use the Search from the LOV
5. In the dialog use the operators contains, start, ends, not equals on the "User Name" field and all work returning the list of users
6. Now do the same for Name field and the only operator that works is equals and start with, no other operation returns the correct results.
