Automation Agent Action "ORDER RELEASE - MOD - PROPAGATE CHANGES" is not Updating Shipments for Multi-leg Itineraries (Doc ID 3013152.1)

Symptoms

An Automation Agent with an action "ORDER RELEASE - MOD - PROPAGATE CHANGES" has been setup to copy any changes via an Inbound XML Order Release update to the corresponding Shipments

When the Shipment is created with a single leg itinerary (one shipment) the action works correctly, when there is a multi-leg itinerary in use (multiple shipments) it does not work correctly.

The following error was found in the log files:


ERROR: java.lang.NullPointerException




Steps to Reproduce


  1. Setup agent that on order release modification - the changes are propagated to the shipment with updates to ship unit quantities
  2. Create an order release that when it is bulk planned - a multi leg itinerary is used and multiple shipments are created for the order
  3. Use xml to update the order ship units

The error "java.lang.NullPointerException" occurs in the logs
