Goal

Why Orchestration process assigned incorrectly when EFF is included in assignment rule for sales orders?

Created orchestration process assignment rule for sales orders including EFF in the rule condition. When tested the rule for sales order created with two lines such that line 1 is having EFF value and line 2 is not assigned with EFF value, incorrect orchestration processed has been assigned to line 2.

Condition 1:

If the order has service order type along with line level EFF flag 'Yes', it should default the custom orchestration ‘customDOO_DOO_QuoteOnlyProcess’

Condition 2:

If the order has quote order type , it should default the same custom orchestration ‘customDOO_DOO_QuoteOnlyProcess’

Condition 3:

Incase if the above both of these conditions weren't met, the order line should default custom orchesation 'CustomDOO_OrdGP_BUY_BILL_SHIP_TYPES_NO_RV_AM_RW_SC_PAUSE'

Business would like to enter EFF value only 'Yes' for few lines and don't want to set 'No' for remaining lines.

Otherwise it would be tedious task for end users to enter EFF value with No for remaining lines which they don't want.

They will pass the EFF values for required lines and rest of the lines should default 'CustomDOO_OrdGP_BUY_BILL_SHIP_TYPES_NO_RV_AM_RW_SC_PAUSE' as
per process assignment rule.
