PDF Documents Are Not Created in the Correct Page Orientation When Using Amyuni Print to PDF in P6 Professional via PVD (Doc ID 3014608.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

In P6 Professional via Primavera Virtual Desktop (PVD), when printing to a PDF document using the Amyuni 'Print to PDF' function and selecting either A0 or A1 paper size, the document is created in the incorrect orientation.

When selecting other paper sizes the issue does not occur and the PDF document is created correctly.

 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The document should be created in the orientation selected via Page Setup.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

  1. Click File > Page Setup > Page tab.
  2. Select Landscape orientation and A0 paper size, then click OK.
  3. Click File > Print Preview - the document appears correctly (shows as landscape).
  4. Select the Printer icon, select Amyuni PDF Converter for the printer and click OK to start printing.
  5. Open the new PDF document and observe that only part of the contents is visible (ex. May is displayed on the right side of the page instead of December) and the document is in Portrait orientation rather than Landscape.

 

  1. Click File > Page Setup > Page tab.
  2. Select Portrait orientation and A0 paper size, then click OK.
  3. Click File > Print.
  4. Select Amyuni PDF Converter for the printer and click OK to start printing.
  5. Open the new PDF document and observe that it is in Landscape orientation even though Portrait was selected.
