Goal
Customer regularly uses the DCLOSE-REOPEN-DCLOSE scenario on a day to day basis.
1. The store/days are auto closed everyday at 1:30 AM.
2. Next day the user wants to reconcile the tills from yesterday before opening the new store/day.
3. In order for the end till counts to be included in yesterday’s transactions, Store/Day must be Re-Opened for yesterday’s date.
4. User counts the tills.
5. Store Close.
Since the XSTORE has 3 pods and it does not take much time to count the till the REOPEN and DCLOSE get generated almost at the same time(time difference of less than 20 seconds in some cases). On these instances there is a very high probability of DCLOSE reaching RESA before REOPEN.
1. With the first DCLOSE, the Store/Day is closed.
2. With the scenario explained above, DCLOSE reaches ReSA before REOPEN. The fie gets rejected as the Store/Day is already closed.
2. RTLOG have re-open reaches RESA and the Store/Day is reopened. The Store/Day remains re-opened until manual intervention.
ReSA needs to have a mechanism to process the transactions in the correct sequence.
