Use EPM Automate to Download A snapshot not in XML format (Doc ID 3017797.1)

Symptoms

We are trying to use EPM Automate to download a custom snapshot, which is a report. The customer can burst the report in their application, and they are wondering if they can use EPM Automate to download the report, since they do not use Narrative Reporting. Is that possible? When they try, they get the following error: "EPMAT-1:Resource does not exist : [path to report and report name have been redacted]"

Is the customer doing anything wrong?
