Symptoms

On : 11.13.24.01.0 version, UK - United Kingdom Legislation

After enabling the cases functionality for UK statutory sickness processing, when creating an absence record (through manage absence records) and selecting "Disable Earnings Check", the statutory pay is not automatically coming up to 100%.

Prior to turning on the cases functionality, selecting this at absence entry would automatically bring the statutory payment percentage up to 100%.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. User enabled the cases functionality for UK statutory sickness processing.
2. Created a Sickness absence record, with "Disable Earnings Check" set to Yes.
3. Even though "Disable Earnings Check" was selected, Statutory pay is 0%.
4. Certification generated in the case (example): Qualified Entitlement 16/09/2024 - 04/11/2024 36 Days at 0%.
5. Workaround: Certification must be voided after the entry of the record, which is unexpected. Edit Absence Certification > Actions: Void.

Note: This feature is still available via the absence entry screen, but is not behaving as expected.
