Import Failed Error Received When Calling Create WBS SOAP API Call (Doc ID 3018624.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to Unifier ver 23.12, the following error is received when calling the CreateWBS SOAP API call.


ERROR:

<Business Process_Name> creation has errors. Import Failed

e.g. Error - 000000.000.000000.0~~00000.001.0.~~00000.001.001001.X is not a valid CBS code.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Connect to Unifier with authenticated user credentials and using the SOAP User Interface.
  2. Run the CreateWBS SOAP API call with the WBS Code that creates the parent WBS Code as well. See e.g. above.
  3. The SOAP API call fails and returns the error message as above.
