Oracle Fusion Enterprise Contracts Management Cloud Service - Version 11.13.23.10.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
--------------------
When creating a new Descriptive Flexfield Checkbox, the defaulted value returns as NULL when querring a pre-existing Contract with REST API.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
The defaulted value of the new Descriptive Flexfield must appear in Contracts created before the Descriptive Flexfield.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a Descriptive Flexfield Checkbox. Make sure you set the same Default Value as the Unchecked Value field and set a different one for the checked value field. (That way when the checkbox is unchecked it will have the Defaulted Value assigned).
2. Deploy the Descriptive Flexfield.
3. Call through REST API a Contract that was created previously to the Descriptive Flexfield Checkbox > the Default Value of the Descriptive Flexfield on that contract returns as NULL.
