Fusion UK Payroll: Incorrect NI Calculation for Directors (Doc ID 3025486.1)

Symptoms

While validating the National Insurance (NI) calculations for directors, the NI is not calculating correctly if there are some changes done retrospectively.

Initially the directorship appointment date was updated as 06.04.2020 effective 01.07.2023 for person number XXXXXX. Whereas the correct date should be 01.07.2023.

Now when processing payroll for March 2024, NI contributions are calculating incorrectly.

Expectations:

NI calculations for directors should be correct.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Payroll Calculation for March 2024.
2. Check the run results for employee.
3. Observe NI calculations for directors is incorrect.
