Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When adding a new activity to a project, the Gantt Chart becomes misaligned with the activities in the Activity table.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The Gantt Chart and activities in the Activities table should line up properly.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. In P6 Professional, open a project.
  2. Go to Project > Activities.
  3. Apply a layout that uses Optimize height by row content in the Table, Font and Row settings.
  4. Notice Gantt Chart is aligned properly.
  5. Add a new activity.
  6. Notice Gantt Chart becomes misaligned with the activities in the Activities table.
