Symptoms

Trying to discover a RAC database fails with following error:

problem was encountered: The connected database host name is: <Node 1 FQDN>, and it's not matching with discovered database node host name: <Node 1 Short Host Name>, <Node 2 Short Host Name>
If the problem persists, contact Oracle support and provide the following opc-request-id: <OPC Request ID>
