Symptoms

When using the functionality to Create a Bank Statement from a Spreadsheet, we tried using a 23408.68 (DBIT) OPBD and 46617.36 (CLBD), both positive amounts in the Balance Amount field and DBIT in the Credit-Debit Indicator field to represent it as a negative amount. However, we Oracle displaying an error
WARNING [CE_STMT_OPBAL_MISMATCH], Statement_Header_Id[XXXXXXXXXXX], [The opening balance amount 23408.68 doesn't match the closing balance amount -23408.68 of the previous statement for this bank account.]
However, using a -23408.68 (DBIT) OPBD and -46617.36 (CLBD), both negative amounts in the Balance Amount field and DBIT in the Credit-Debit Indicator field to represent it as a negative amount the system process the statement giving Balance Check as 0.

According with Oracle documentation:  "Enter positive amounts and use the Debit orCredit indicator column to distinguish debit and credit amounts."
