Error 'Field "Type" in Relationship may not be set to null' When Attempting to Import an XML file into P6 Professional (Doc ID 3027076.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to import an XML file into P6 Professional, the import fails and the following error occurs in the import log file.

"SEVERE: com.primavera.integration.client.xml.xmlimporter.XMLImporterException: Unable to invoke setType on business object Relationship. Field "Type" in Relationship may not be set to null. For XML Element ID/UID : <Element ID/UID>"
